Antibacterial Pre-filter with fiber mesh and sterilization non-woven fabric
The antibacterial pre-filter is the first protective layer against (fine) dust, hair, pollen and skin flakes. Our pre-filters feature fiber mesh and sterilization nonwoven fabric, and comply with EN779, ISO 16890 and ASHRAE 52.2 standards.
HEPA H14 antimicrobial peptide filter
The HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) H14 antimicrobial peptide filter has been developed for use within aerospace. This technique is now applied in the AirExchange® air cleaning systems and purifies fungi, bacteria, pollen and viruses with an effectiveness of 99.995%. The filter has been developed in accordance with European Union Standard 1822:2019 for the purification of PM1.0 (particulate matter with a minimum diameter of 1.0µm).
Carbon filter with activated carbon
The Carbon filter with active carbon in a honeycomb structure cleans air particles by actively removing odors, gases, smoke, oils, greases and vapors. In addition, the carbon filter also filters volatile organic compounds, formaldehyde, benzene, xylene, TVOC and other harmful substances. This way you can breathe without any worries.
TiO2 filter with natural ionization
The self-cleaning, photocatalytic Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) mesh filter eliminates micro-organisms such as viruses, bacteria and fungi by proactively bombarding passing particles with protons (natural ionisation by UV light).
Important to know: we do not use an ESP (electrostatic precipitator), which is used as a method of ionization where toxic ozone gas is released to clean the atmosphere of a room.
UV-C light treatment
UV-C is an ultraviolet, electromagnetic, short wave (253.7nm) radiation. This radiation damages the photolytic processes in the cells of any remaining microorganisms, causing damage and breaking them down permanently.
Official Test Results
Our products are CE , CB , ROHS and FCC approved. In addition, our systems are also tested and proven to be effective against the most recent viruses, bacteria and fungi, making it possible to use the AirExchange® air cleaning systems for even more occasions.

At an elimination effectiveness of > 99.99%, no virus and / or bacterial particles were found in the purified ambient air.

The integrated UV-C light
The AirExchange® air cleaning systems are equipped with a 253.7nm spectrum UV-C lamp. This UV-C lamp is positioned in the center of the 360° degree filter combination and is the last and also the 'deadliest' protection against viruses, bacteria and fungi.
The 254NM radiation damages the photolytic (DNA) processes in the cell nuclei of any remaining microorganisms, causing them to be damaged and broken down permanently.
Using this UV-C technology it is possible to achieve an elimination effectiveness of more than 99.995% .
Well-thought-out VORTEX air flow
Aerosols, dust particles and contaminated air particles are heavier than cleaned air particles. The AirExchange® air cleaning systems use the unique VORTEX principle, which we have developed to create a circulair airflow.
This way, heavier particles that are floating in the lower areas of the room are sucked into the device. After going through the filtration system, the clean, filtered air particles are propulsed from the top of the system back into the room.
Thanks to our VORTEX-technology, the air range is increased and it is possible to effectively purify connected rooms.
