Ventilation and air quality play an increasingly important role in indoor spaces these days. Both the WHO (World Health Organization) and the European government agencies now recognize the role of aerosols in the spread of COVID-19 and are increasingly trying to take additional measures to improve air quality.

AirExchange sells professional, visually appealing air cleaning systems that actively filter virus particles from the air. Since the start of the pandemic, AirExchange has been working to make indoor spaces such as offices, gyms and treatment rooms safer. We are now active throughout Europe and have built up a large partner network. 

We are looking for an intern to research market opportunities within the Netherlands and Europe and to convert these into a route-to-market strategy. The internship can vary from identifying interesting business segments to actively approaching and selling our products to international companies. 

As an extra motivation to work in a sales-oriented way, AirExchange offers a considerable commission for the direct sale of an air cleaning system.

During the internship we work with short lines of communication, we maintain a flexible attitude and we can provide daily guidance. We work together towards a great end result, because your final grades are important to us too! You will work independently, whereby a hybrid form of physical office and working from home can be maintained. Given the flexible internship formulation, a lot of development will be possible in various areas. The atmosphere in which you will work is one of passion, drive and sincerity/responsibility. The activities you can dive into:

• Determine market size, potential market growth and competition intensity;
• Determining competitive position, brand value, product quality, customer knowledge and sales effectiveness;
• Identify Micro/Meso/Macro environment;
  • From buyers, substitutions and competition to mapping, for example, demographic and political influences.
• Marketing support for the sale of services and products;
• Determining route-to-market;
• Actively assisting in the sale of our systems on a commission basis.
